The 7-day rotation — full week

For players in their first week or so (days 3–9 of playing), the game picks the day's three stages from 21 built-in boards by the day of the month, cycling every seven days — so this full rotation covers every date, not just today. Dates and the highlight follow your device's local date (computed in your browser), matching the game's local-midnight reset. Boards are mapped from the official app package. Newer players get a fixed sequence (see below), and from day 10 on the boards are drawn at random — for those, the word finder is the way to go.

How the Daily Challenge picks your boards

We went through the official app package to map this out — the daily mode isn't the same board for everyone. Which boards you get depends on how many days you've played:

Days 1–2: a fixed opening sequence

Every new player starts with the same six stages in the same order — three on day one, three on day two. Both days are answered in the next section.

Days 3–9: a 7-day calendar rotation

From your third day, the game switches to a pool of 21 built-in daily boards and picks them by the calendar: the day of the month selects which three stages you get, cycling through the pool every seven days. That's why the full rotation above covers every date — same day of the month, same boards for every player in this phase. The dates and highlight follow your device's local date (computed in your browser), matching the game's local-midnight reset.

Day 10 and beyond: a random draw

Once you're a daily veteran, the game draws your stages at random from large pools of main-game levels, seeded when you open the daily that day. Those boards can't be predicted in advance — by us or anyone else. What works instead: open the word finder, type the words on your screen, and it locates the exact board and its answers.
